Used cars sale in the fortress of Kuwait has always been a matter of due significance.  Various individuals have not only preferred to buy second hand cars, many have even taken it as a business and a source of income.  If one digs deep into this phenomenon, one realizes that there could be various reasons to it.  Given the fact that oil is available in surplus, the fuel cost is close to nil.  That is where aspiring individuals in the middle income group might buy cars through the used cars sale route and fulfill their long held desire of owning a car.  Another reason for the extensive popularity of used cars might also be the roads which are in the best of health. With the roads being as smooth as cheese, cars tend to last long, thus, making the business of used cars sale all the more relevant.

Talking about the help that the availability of oil has been to the business of used cars sale, one would realize that it has a considerable impact.  Kuwait accounts for a large portion of the world’s oil reserves as it stands at the 50^th position in the world in terms of oil reserves.  Not only this, petroleum and petroleum products account for more than 90% of export revenues of the country and about 80% of the total government income.  With such numbers, used cars sale is bound to get a boost.  This is because petroleum in Kuwait is as cheap as free and this makes a car all the more affordable.  All cost that one is required to incur is on the purchase and servicing and the petrol cost, which is a major cost-center in most countries, is negligible.  Thus, petrol price’s impact on used cars sale is palpable.

Infrastructure, as mentioned in the initial part of this article, is another major component aiding the business of used cars sale.  One can’t neglect the role that infrastructure plays in the business of used cars.  There are many reasons to it.  If the roads on which the car is being driven are punctuated by more potholes than smooth drives then it is pretty much understood that the car would lose its sheen pretty quickly.   In this case the business of used cars sale would be impacted because the car would be as good as dead within five to six years of its existence.  On the other hand, if the infrastructure is good and the roads are smooth; there are more chances that none that the car would maintain its newness for long with the high quality standards that the modern cars boast of, thus, abetting the used cars sale business.
